Vienna Style …. “A glaserl Wein beim Heurigen” (a glass of wine at the Heurigen)

Imagine a hot summer night, the sun starts to go down, you have the smell of delicious food in your nose, hear people laughing around you

and feel the sun kissing your skin, yes this feels like holiday, even for locals.

Family restaurants, offering a small selection of traditional dishes and a relatively large selection of home – made wine has a long history in Austria and goes back to the 18th century.

In Vienna, Tourists come from all over the world to have a glass of “Spritzer” (white wine and soda) and “Schnitzel” (bredded pork or beef).

The atmosphere is amazing, people are having a good time and from time to time a small band plays traditional Volskmusic and folklore or dances along to the Vienna Walz…

An outstanding place to be is the Heurigen “Furgasselhuber” in Vienna’s 19th Distric.

The Bad: nothing to be mentioned

The Good: please just read the whole post again 🙂
