PAUL – Maison de Qualite?

A Saturday morning in Dubai starts best with a good and healthy breakfast!

Service Excellence checked out one of the restaurants located in the Dubai Mall this morning to see if it is worth spending your mornings there…

Paul, at Dubai Mall does not have the greatest breakfast items to offer but the service is quick, friendly and very authentic!

Majority of the breakfast items are croissants and bread with jam, as well as 3 kinds of eggs such as omelet or sunny side up!
Not the greatest variety to be honest, we have seen better, even in a city where going to a brunch is more popular than enjoying a healthy breakfast!

However, rating the staff, their service and customer approach – Paul’s service team has it’ s charm and is very friendly indeed!

The waiter greeted us at the entrance and accompanied us to the table, seated us and handed over the menu! He asked about our well – being and offered us tea and coffee!

He suggested eggs, baguette and croissants and the best – even early morning, smiled all the time!

Coffee was served within seconds and the milk foam presentation was a nice touch to it!

Breakfast was served by another waiter, all men, who greeted us nicely and wished us Bonne Appetite while placing the plates! This is a brand standard for sure, but noticeable and again a nice touch!

We finished quite quickly as we had to rush home blogging about our breakfast experience and when asking for the bill, again service was quick and ran smoothly!

The Good: very nice, friendly and quick service – this is what we like early morning!

The Bad: the restaurant should go over the menu again and offer more healthy breakfast items. More yoghurt and cereals with fruits, less carbs and sweets would be an option!

Let’s see what we discover next weekend!

Where did you have breakfast today?
