Jones the Grocer – always good for a surprise

How is your weekend so far!

Mine started off rather lazy but relaxed, up to the point when we decided to go for late lunch!

If possible, then I would assume that my lazy attitude today was contagious… but then no, laziness seems to be Jones the Grocer standard of service!

The food tastes great and also the fresh juices are quite nice, but you actually have to make it that far to place an order!

Seated ourselves as no welcome on arrival. Once we got the menu it only took 15 min before someone saw us waving!

Placing the order seamed to be a whole new experience – for the waiter at least!

Anyways food was served quite quickly and tasted good!

However, the moment I took my last bite and placed my forge, the manager came took my plate and said: “Done?”

I could not even answer as my mouth was still full with chicken pie!

SEB sitting there, staring at the manager, surprised by the incredible lack of sense for service or hospitality, nodding the head!

Shocking but at the same time it all made sense again! It all comes from top to down, the managers attitude reflects in his service staffs’ behavior!

Looking around, we were not the only guests unhappy and disappointed!

A shame for such a nice place, but i guess that is also what the two waitress were chatting about in the middle of the restaurant, instead of serving tables and checking up on their guests…

The Good: the food is nice!

The Bad: read it all again…. Nothing to be added to that!
