Bateel at DIFC
This weekend was a busy one for us, especially on Friday.
We woke up really early to meet colleagues at the Jebel Ali Shooting Club for a coffee and headed to the Farmers Market on the Terrace at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers after that, before having lunch at Bateel in DIFC.
It was our first time at the Farmers Market and we enjoyed trying out organic sweets and coffee, sandwiches and honey, while squeezing through a crowd of young families, couples and organic food lovers.
Some tried food directly on the stands, others sat down in the grass area to enjoy nibbles they just bought.
It was a beautiful day and we decided to get freshly brewed cappuccino and sit down at one of the benches close to the market to observe the happening from there.
After a short tan and a nice, warm cup of ‘organic’ coffee, we went for a walk and ended up at Bateel in DIFC, where we had lunch on the terrace.
In general, Bateel is one of our favorites, and with the nice view and the great service, the branch in DIFC turned out to become the number one on the list of all their restaurants in Dubai.
The service was friendly and quick. The food tasted fantastic as usual, and the overall experience was just great.
We can only recommend Bateel to everyone who looks for a relaxed lunch out with friends, quality products and consistency in service, through out all branches in the city.
Happy weekend to all of you!
